Actress Amanda Seyfried doubled down on trashing Charlie Kirk and describing the late political activist as hateful.
In September, following the assassination of Kirk, the Mean Girls actress shared a post from user rudyfrancisco to her Instagram stories. The post stated, “You can’t invite violence to the dinner table and be shocked when it starts eating.”
In a comment on one of her Instagram posts, she also wrote, “He was hateful.”
After these comments circulated online, numerous individuals flooded Seyfried’s most recent posts with comments such as “RIP Charlie,” and “I really thought you were a decent human being. RIP Charlie,” and “Forever Charlie is hero.”
She then posted what she described as a clarification on her views. First, she wrote, “I don’t want to add fuel to a fire. I just want to be able to give clarity to something so irresponsibly (but understandably) taken out of context. Spirited discourse- isn’t that what we should be having?”
Along with this she shared an image that states, “We’re forgetting the nuance of humanity. I can get angry about misogyny and ALSO very much agree that Charlie Kirk’s murder was absolutely disturbing and deplorable in every way imaginable. No one should have to experience this level of violence. This country is grieving too many senseless and violent deaths and shootings. Can we agree on that at least.”
Now in an interview with Who What Wear to promote her film The Testament of Ann Lee, Seyfried doubled down on describing Kirk as “hateful.” She said, “I’m not [expletive] apologizing for that. I mean, for [expletive] sake, I commented on one thing. I said something that was based on actual reality and actual footage and actual quotes.”
“Thank God for Instagram. I was able to give some clarity, and it was about getting my voice back because I felt like it had been stolen and recontextualized—which is what people do, of course,” she added.
Of note, Seyfried does not provide any evidence that Kirk was “hateful.” Rather she just makes a claim that the evidence exists and hopes that everyone reading will nod and agree with her.
Ironically, Seyfried is the one who is hateful and is a promoter of murdering the innocent. In May 2022 following the release of a draft opinion that indicated the Supreme Court would overturn Roe v. Wade, Seyfried gave a speech at Variety’s Power of Women conference where she said, “Women’s safety and security as we have just been reminded is far too often negotiable. And it’s not negotiable to me.”
Later in her interview with Who What Wear, she also commented on the overall state of society, “It seems ridiculous at times because people are marching the streets, and I’m not one of them—at least not today. I have to remember that I have nothing to apologize for unless I’m harming someone emotionally, physically, mentally.”
“It’s getting so dark that I feel like I gotta just keep my head on and make sure that I get the train on time and promote my movies. A lot of people’s lives depend on that movie being promoted,” she said.

I believe you mean "livelihoods", in which case, there's always learning to code or mine litihium.
Getting older and uglier really makes women hateful, huh?
