Marie Brennan is a feminist diversity hire pushed hard by mainstream fantasy publishing even to the point of becoming a Hugo Award finalist for best series for Memoirs Of Lady Trent, and now she’s trying to groom children into transgenderism by promoting trans girl scout cookie sales.
The mid-2010s saw science fiction and fantasy pivot from great stories with epic imagination to naval-gazing stories about identity politics, including pushes toward feminism, black-centric stories, and LGBTQ propaganda. Marie Brennan was one of the authors who benefited from the mainstream push, with her feminist fantasy being championed by some of the wokest elements of the World Science Fiction Convention in 2018.
