The mainstream fantasy and science fiction publishing establishment is up in arms, with Hugo and Nebula Award winning writer and Tor.com contributor Jo Walton calling for the World Science Fiction Convention (Worldcon) to boycott The United States because of President Donald Trump’s executive order declaring a man is a man and a woman is woman.

Over the last few decades, mainstream science fiction has become a complete disaster of diversity, equity and inclusion virtue signaling. It became so bad that the Hugo Awards awarded someone for posting their erotic thoughts about dinosaurs in the story, “If You Were A Dinosaur My Love.” This sparked outrage among fans and authors who tried to save Worldcon from itself, only for such authors to be ostracized from these groups.
