Ever since Warhammer 40K went woke with the female custodes, wargamers have been searching for a place to find a haven for their gaming that wouldn’t be overrun by politics like Games Workshop. They thought they found such a place with Trench Crusade, a new fantasy wargame coming to Kickstarter in 2024. However, the company has now made it clear that traditional catholic gamers and anti-woke players are not welcome.
We need to stop tourists from rampaging through our hobbies only to move to the next one once they’ve destroyed everything. I’m so fed up with everything I like being ruined. Suddenly, everyone is a gamer, everyone reads comics, everyone is in fantasy and science fiction, and yet, they all have a problem with hobbies that have established tenets way before they were even born in most cases😑

The problem is companies just roll over to them the moment they start crying.
We need someone with imagination and backing to create a game we can play without the real life politics.
It’s the only way we can fight back.
We need to create our own Warhammer 40k, with blackjack and hookers.
We can’t let people take over something that’s existed long before most of the tourists were even born…
Imagine gatekeeping something you had zero input in creating.
Fan obsession clouds people’s judgements.
Shame on both ‘sides’ for being opportunists and trying to ruin the fun.
