Arkhaven and Vox Day have been producing thousands of pages of comics with a very loyal readerbase and Hypergamouse is the latest in a chain of successes.
It's a great comic, in the line of several family-style, very long-running strips. Funny comic, with a huge amount of life lessons drawn in. Great start and great attention-getter.
For Gen X, consider the impact like crowdfunding "Calvinball: The Illustrated Official Rules"
I'm excited about Arkhaven. It's a relief to find a place where comic creators aren’t confined by the limitations of PC/woke culture.
I'm especially fond of Hypergamouse and backed the Kickstarter right away. Lately, I've been collecting older works—some Roy Rogers, war comics with art by Frank Frazetta, and even a Marvel Conan tome alongside a few paperback editions. I’m also diving into the world of Alex Raymond and Noel Sickles. There’s something thrilling about being able to explore and hand-pick the cream of the crop from nearly a century of comics history.
Of course, from Arkhaven, I’m loving Chuck Dixon Presents and all the incredible projects he’s spearheading.
But Hypergamouse is the first truly new comic that will soon grace my collection, and I couldn’t be more excited. It tackles contemporary themes with such clever humor, and as a female comics creator myself, it resonates on a deeper level. Knowing there’s a platform outside the usual constraints of Webtoons and mainstream publishers is incredibly refreshing.
Paper Doll Veronika is hilarious. At first I wasn't drawn to it because I didn't "get" the art style, but it only took a few chapters before I was hooked.
"A comedy strip focused on the socio-sexual hierarchy, Fairchild combines the anthropomorphic slice-of-life humor of old newspaper comics with modern theming, making Hypergamouse something special for readers."

I hope you will give VegFolk Fables and Paper Doll Veronika a try. They are two of my favorites (one for obvious reasons)

What's hypergamouse?

It's quite good, and gets better as it goes along.
Gotcha will check it out
Hypergamous is consistently great.
It's nice to see "alt" comics get a bit of time in the spotlight. Definitely tired of the same-old/same-old from DC and Marvel.
