I wish I still cared, and I mean that sincerely. This ship has sailed and as long as Kevin Feiggot is in charge, there's nothing about the MCU that can reel me back in. But hey, at least Simu Liu got to step away from 69'ing Ken Jeung long enough to play Shang-Chi again.
They may finally -- at long last! -- recognize the audience thinks everything after Endgame in Phases IV, V, and VI was trash. They may be planning to use an Endgame time trick to just wipe it away like it never existed. Perhaps Doctor Doom shows up at the end of Endgame and undoes something wonky -- like maybe preventing Captain America from staying in the past with Peggy Carter. All that future --Phases IV, V, and VI -- goes away like a Thanos snap.
RDJ and the Russo Brothers are gonna try, but this movie is lead balloon territory. No one is talking about this -- no buzz, no hate, just indifference. Movie will need to make $1.5 billion (or maybe more) just to break even.
So, just like normal, they can't create anything new. Just endless reboots and inversions of the same characters. So much so that no one cares any more.
So basically they’re going the comic route of endless reboots and where nothing really matters?

"Kevin Feiggot", lol.

Yeah my reaction is “Huh! Well anyway…”
I can’t think of a single current franchise that I have any sort of interest in. They’re all so fake and gay.
I have no idea what all of that means. Can you explain it to the casual long-time reader of the long-ago comics and the major films?
