I think it's stupid to attack someone who once supported them. Jeremy has always said that he once enjoyed comics, but they've failed him. He never rants without proof, and then he laughs at them.
Does anyone still read DC or Marvel? I haven't bought any of their stuff in years. But there are plenty of great manga, such as My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer, both of which I have been reading and following in anime on television. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the independent comics creators outsell Marvel or DC. It would be interesting to get the actual numbers.
Also, I wonder how the number of people reading DC or Marvel compare to the number of people following Geeks & Gamers or Young Rippa.
You'd think they could do better than this weak-sauce projection of their own actions.
