Vote with your wallet. Lots of much better games, with much better lore, not infected with woke DEI communism.

There is only one script, and only one direction the ratchet turns. GW's demise will be heralded by Normies with indifference. The Abnormals will scream to the heavens.

GW delenda est.

My contact with GW is second hand through Board Games by Fantasy Flight Games. Then GW unceremoniously pulled all of FFG's licenses, so it's easy for me to put GW on my non-buy-nary list. I feel for people who sunk thousands of dollars into minis, but I'd encourage them with the fact that there's lots of alternatives out there now.

'Players caught on that they changed the Adeptus Custodes to allow females into the order, something historically that was never true, and Games Workshop responded that it had always been that way.'

Actually, it looks like this has a lot to do with upcoming media content and Henry Cavill. As one might imagine, Cavill is a purist and faithful to the lore, given his creative differences with Netflix over the Witcher. The production company actually wanted GW to embrace female space marines, but this was considered A Bridge Too Far by GW and Cavill. A compromise was reached in the form of changes to the Adeptus Custodes. One can imagine the wheels grinding now within the fevered imagination of the creatives of the production company- 'How can we insert girl bosses which nobody wants and make sure they can throw men twice their weight around the room, thus ruining the IP?'

Fandom within the action genre has remained consistently 70% male despite every attempt to make it more 'inclusive'. All attempts to cultivate a larger female action audience have failed. and content designed for 'modern audiences' is increasingly attracting smaller audiences, because the older, more loyal audience has had enough of this shit. Meanwhile, Rom-Com audiences remain consistently 70% female.

Here's an idea- let's start messing with their favourite movie pastime. No male leads over 5' 7"- constantly casting tall men is exclusionary. All male leads must be at least 20% overweight by BMI- the current market is fat shaming men! No pirates, CEOs, doctors or highly successful men as male leads. Let's make the feminists watch the modern equivalent of Seth Rogan cast alongside Katherine Heigl again, and again, and again, and again, until they get a small inkling of just how much their idiotic social constructionist screed has ruined the action genre for men.
