Jason Isaacs, who played William Tavington in The Patriot opposite Mel Gibson’s Benjamin Martin, recently claimed that Gibson has “said and dome some things that are unconscionable and unforgivable.”This Substack is reader-supported.
Nope! Remeber he pointed out that the religious figures of his day were of their "father" the Devil. Which clearly means they were Satanists masquerading as rabbis. No different than today. The clothes may change over the centuries but the animal inside them hasnt.
And why exactly should anyone care what one Jason Isaacs has to say about Gibson? In particular, why would MG care about forgiveness (or lack thereof) from a Jewish atheist?
Mel Gibson was making a movie that he had to spend his own cash on because no studio would make it for some weird reason. As he made it and released it, Hollywood and the media began a full assault on him for some reason. He was having a breakdown since everyone has a breaking point. He is right and knows he will be attacked again as he makes the sequel.
Unconscionable, sure, but the issue of Gibson's ulitmate forgiveness is best left up to God. We don't know what all is going on in those situations. I think, we mistake human forgiveness as meaning that we forget what happened and go about acting like it never happened. We can forgive a person of assault while still sending them to jail for it. Forgiveness is something you give yourself--to allow yourself to not think of the other person with enmity or resentment. That doesn't mean you have to trust them or not punish them. (Deliverance from punishment is mercy, not forgiveness.)
Christians in service to these demons are often very conflicted, as it requires them to anathemetize fake vices, pretending they are real.
For example: "No. We're not friends. Mr. Gibson is messed up: he goes on drunken rampages and he put his own scifi fantasy garbage into a story about the crucifixion*. I don't think he's sorry, either: he just makes excuses about being in a bad place."
See? Like that. No need to dress it up with Narrative "ism"s.
(*Not saying Mr. Gibson did either. Just translating Narrativist commandments into decent person.)
If someone is a monster, and doesn’t repent, then no. But otherwise, most of us, and Mel, live our lives doing good as best we can. None of us want to be judged and ostracized for our worst moment… particularly when it was just speech not violence.
I don’t judge Mel in the least. If you can’t forgive, just set it aside and don’t judge. I think that’s what was done by the British actor here, except he appears not to have the courage to do so openly.
He has a strict moral compass and compassion, which makes him conflicted. I would rather be around a man with doubts than than the self righteous.
Gibson is GOAT. Fuck Zionists and any shill bitch that pretends that fucking garbage has any validity whatsoever.
You know that Jesus is the ultimate Zionist right? lol

Guess you are unfamiliar with his teachings…

I really don't think Gibson did anything for which he needs to apologize.
He EXPOSED a truth.
In times of hardship and tyranny, telling the truth becomes "anti-semitic."

What was "unconscionable"?
Mr. Gibson offended the gods of the Narrative.

He said the jews control hollywood. Since then he’s never been allowed in another movie made by the Hollywood elite. Hmmm…
Demons are all over the gospels. What is this guy talking about? Also, what made the demon in the film "Jewish"? Who's the "antisemite" now? Lol
Is it a sin to have a drunken anti-semitic rant? Gibson didn’t even rant to Isaacs, so why does Isaacs feel any obligation to ‘forgive’ Gibson?
Mel Gibson is the best, what’s unconscionable is being a leftist twerp
Yeah, but then there's Dobby.
A Hollywood actor said a Hollywood actor, acted like a Hollywood actor. Got it. Ill concider the source and ignor them both.

I guess you have to be a Jews glory hole to even be an actor these days.
“I forgave him instantly.” Next paragraph, “I’m not saying I forgive him.” Hmmm.
Very few give a rats ass what you think. You are reciting gossip. Shut your yap and move on. Poser
I love Mel, I grew up with his movies. He gets a pass from me after 15 years.
