By all accounts, “Superman” has underperformed financially. It’s not really the fault of Gunn or anyone else involved - it’s just that it came at the tail end of the superhero movie trend, and no one wants to see them anymore unless they’ve got a nostalgia-bait actor like “Deadpool & Wolverine” or that one “Spider-Man” movie.
What do I make out of Gunn's word salad? nothing. It's just rambling nonsense.
DC is dead. What they're hoping is to round the bend of demographics. Get out of the "old people" realm and into the impressionable future.
They want us to die. They want our children.
