I first read Peter David’s work on Spectacular Spider Man - “The death of Jean de Wolf”. That was my introduction to how cool it was to have a wonderful and skilled writer on the book. It was different. I didn’t want deWolf to die - and spider man was as enraged as I was. I still remember it. I was 13 years old.

Everything with Peter Davids name on it after that - I bought. I’m glad to have read his work.

Yeah. I do have some memories of Peter David. I was at a con and his daughter stuck on "count pickula" (a pickle verison of count dracula) on something of Harlan Ellison's and Harlan was like WTF is this? I remember another panel he was on, talking about the absurdity of the the Enterprise "listing" in space in the original series. It was a lot of fun. I think he also talked about the decontamination scene in Enterprise being sexy but not feeling sexy at all. He signed a book for me. I really enjoyed his work. He will be missed.

A sad day and a tragic loss.

We have a very misandrist family court system where men are typically assumed the villain and the women the innocent angel who didn't do nothing. That said it's men's fault because we allowed this and continue to allow it. It;s mainly because of politicians who won't to stay in power so they support whatever feminists push but there's also a fair number of simps and male feminists who support this.

MEN: I tell you this as a 25+ year husband and father who is still married. Put some money in an account only you have access to. Make sure the shared or family account(s) contain only that which is needed to fund the household. You can bet that if your wife has a good that she is NOT putting all(if any) of what she makes into teh household/family account. Today women view what you make as "our money" and what they make as "their money".

Sadly women today can be mean, vindictive and won't hesitate to lie in family court b.c they know they will be believed no matter what and even if their caught lying they know women are rarely held accountable for lying to cops or the courts about things like this.

It;s sad but true. Feminism has poisoned the minds of multiple generations of women and so you have to be ready in case the woman you love turns out to be someone you thought you knew but did not.

I hate to hear that. I've been a fan of his since the 80s. May the Great Bird of the Galaxy gather him home
