Luckily the alternative comic book world is swelling in numbers-take me back to the days of good old 'save the world and get the girl'

The last thing I want in my comics are liberal women running the show,I'm a woman and I think these lassies need given a wide berth

There's a reason, I plan to publish Bande Desinees and not comics through any of the main Comic studios, they're bat-shit nuts.

Kudos FP for you tackling this and commenting on it, at least Simone has some sense.

Presumably whatever is left of the comic audience is based white males. Why do you not do a consumer boycott until these vile people are purged? (I haven't bought a comic since they were good, like 25 years ago or more).

Judging by the sales figures (which have to be extrapolated because apparently actual figures are a trade secret) there's seems to be a tacit boycott on. It won't purge them however (at least not for a looong time) because the nuts are "holding space" and it isn't about money.

You can't boycott Marvel or DC out of business until their sugar daddies go bust -- those are Disney and Discovery-WB. Pockets are too deep right now.

But, you can do yourself the favor of never buying another one of their books until it all burns down, for the sake of your own soul.

Makes sense.

No one is contemplating whether Waid or Antos should live or die.

That is their level of relevance to American health, prosperity, and leadership.

Consider their opinions of others' fates accordingly.

In a situation like this, the best thing these comic industry people should do is 1) say nothing or 2) issue a simple statement like Gail Simone. No matter how much one may dislike someone running for a political office, he is still a human being. And it should not be controversial to say that people should not kill other people because they don't like them.

This is disgusting.

Luckily I don’t buy comics anymore. Let it all burn.

Decency you see, is colonialism. Rather we should hoot and scream for the blood of our enemies like cannibal tribes in deepest jungle!

A decent man simply kills without fanfare.

He certainly doesn't pitch a fit if his foes fail to die.

Can't even do villainy or vigilantism well either.

Just more peacocking of garbage world view. One day, all this is going to swing the other way, and these people are going to be screaming into the void. Or there’s simply going to be no one left that cares.

I for one am glad that the converged US comics industry is giving no reason to help or support them in any way. There's no good will to confuse people with any sympathy for these people as they work as millstones around their owner's necks

As an ex comic book store owner who still sells online, these demented left-wing wackos are alienating customers and potential ones. When I see this behaviour from people who would be fired in a New York minute from any other business or corporation, I question not only the ethics and morals of those who hire them but as a capitalist, certainly restrains me from doing business with them.
