Incidentally, his wiki page features a photo of him taken at Bronycon, so...I don't imagine this is a man who warrants much defense. He's very likely just as woke as the average npc, but not woke enough to appease the zerg.
Andy Price is my favorite MLP artist; it's quite frustrating to see random people on social media attacking him and getting attention for it when the rest of his comics have followed the same art style throughout his ~10 year run. My Little Pony has also generally specifically avoided ways for people to fixate on races by making them pastel, so it's frustrating to see people finally latch onto a way to narrow their view now.
