Is his statement copyrighted? Because "I was emotionally unavailable while being sexually available" Is really the greatest narcissistic anti-apology of all time. I want to use this for my next villain, right before I defenestrate them
Gaiman has always felt "off"... His upbringing certainly appears filled with abuse and control from others. He comes across as nerdy and bookish but then makes women degrade themselves despite his self-proclaimed feminism? Nothing in his accounts, or those of accusers, sounds like people living simple lives. It's all entwined with perversion. To the commentor who said "women today have zero accountability," I say this: It's not just women. Flirtation isn't having sex with someone while your child is right there with you. What is true and what is not remains to be seen, but the whole ordeal is dark.
If abuse took place, why did the women wait to come forward? My ass would have been at the police station before 24 hrs had passed. Now its a game of he said she said with no evidence.
Sure is kinda funny that all of these women apparently didn’t have a problem with the “abuse” at the time. And only later, when contacted by numerous journalists, and likely lawyers looking for a payday, found the “strength” to say “PAY UP!”
The problem with Neil Gaiman and these accusations is that most women have had their minds poisoned by feminist ideology and so they think any flirtatious act by a man they are not sexually attracted to somehow qualifies as sexual assault. They also can simply change their minds after the fact and decide what was once consensual now isn't.
"Part of the odd situation about the Neil Gaiman story is how these details have been well-known for nearly a year because of the work of Tortoise Podcast and Fandom Pulse detailing the abuse allegations against Gaiman."
Uh, no. The New York Magazine article included many details that were not previously revealed.
Gaiman demonstrates why the Left pushes perversion in creativity and cancels, censors, those of us who support morality.

Many details were indeed revealed by Tortoise and Fandom Pulse.
AND
New details were revealed by NYM, after nearly a year. Which is an oddly long interval.
