He’s probably doing this to see if he can get back in the good graces of Kurtzman but I think there’s no way he would let him outperform him again.

Imagine trying to get back in the good graces of a creative black hole like Kurtzman.

It just goes to show what a joke Picard was. Season 3 ignores the previous seasons by having member berries not act like their TNG selves.

"Alternate timelines", the most beloved plot contrivance of shite writers, especially those that only want a skinsuit for their "story".

100% Fanfic writers love to imagine a story where all their fantasies happen to their favorite character. Actual writes love to show how a given character lives through that character's specific adversity. How they change. How they find a way out. "Alternate timelines" are just Mary Sues in narrative form.

This is just "public talk". They have to say things like this, so they look like good little boys who won't rock the boat. He can say what he wants, but he made a deliberate choice not to have any of them play major roles.

And he worked with these people for two years or more. They were friends or at least work friends. A set is a close environment and you get personal with everyone there. He's genuinely sorry they had to leave as actors. But that wasn't his story.

Star Trek: STD.

That's what all this is under Kurtzmann/Abrams.

Who wants it? Anyone?

Might as well hire Kathleen Kennedy to really give Star Trek a "boost."

He's just saying that he worked with these actors for two years and had to tell them that the show was renewed but they were fired. That's it. He's not a jerk. He can't work with someone for two seasons and then just pretend he doesn't know them. He knows his season was better. He knows the old cast wasn't working. Otherwise he would have done more of the same. The actors aren't to blame. The writers and producers are. The actors were just doing their jobs and doing them well considering the material they were given.

Anything by Kurtzman is an weird, Alternative Universe as far as I am concerned. Terry tried his best, as it was a fine watchable programe, but most of the TNG Cast are far too WOKE now, and I feel that Mat alas is trying to get work!

This just proves that he would've ruined it further if he had the time. Season 3 also has some cringe woke elements from what I've heard.

This! We get a Trek that slightly less awful and has some alright moments, and fans act like it’s the return of the king. Crazy.

This should prove that hollywood isn't writing shows for the common people anymore. Hollywood is writing vanity shows for other Hollyweirders.

We haven't had proper representation of the common man since Endgame. Ever since then, it's been downhill.

I said so from the start: Picard S3 wasn’t as good as people make it out to be, and Matallas is far from some genius.

It was a mid season of a terrible show carried by enthusiasm and nostalgia.
