YouTuber Jeremy Hambly, known as The Quartering, has revealed the devastating impact YouTube's algorithm manipulation is having on his channel, exposing a coordinated soft censorship campaign targeting creators who challenge progressive narratives.
YouTube have been doing that for years. They are an enemy platform and those who are doing anti-woke content will be throttled. The only way to damage Google is to remove the Section 230 protections from them.
Making a personality out of "boohoo I'm not getting what I want!" is repulsive to onlookers and has the exact opposite of its intended effect. Youtube management doesn't like anti-woke stuff but if you look at channels like Despot of Antrim, they can still do fantastic numbers in spite of the platform itself. Quarter Pounder has been taking from the same well for years and is shocked it's running dry.
While I don’t like Jeremy’s videos. I wouldn’t resort to being racist. Like actual racism. And you are just jealous he’s not slobbering your knob right now.
I dunno if I can take him on his word when he could easily be losing viewership because of how much he has been clowned on for the failure of his Coffee Brand Coffee and his poor handling of the scandal. It's possible that he's fallen off and accusing Youtube when it's his own fault for a negative cascading effect.
Is he at least cross posting everything to Rumble? It seems like, at the very least, conservative leaning content creators should at least be doing that.
His content isn't very good, never learned anything from his videos you hadn't already been told about 10 times before you came across his video. Oh well, then again most politics these days strikes me as very pop cultureish. No meat on the bones, just get angry about something other then those who actually have material control of your life.
Haven't watched Hambly in a long time, but seeing a lot of misguided joy over his drop-off. He's either right about YouTube pulling shenanigans or he isn't. If he's right however, you should expect YouTube to eventually target you or someone you care about.
To be fair, though, there's not a strong relationship between subs and views, and plenty of channels that have no ideological component are facing dropped views relative to subs. And plenty of channels that I watch frequently, I'm not subbed to. I have no doubt that YouTube does weird things with the algorithm to promote who they want to promote and not who they don't, at least sometimes. But often it's not ideological at all. I lost interest in The Quartering years ago, and I doubt I'm the only one.
I don't doubt the YT screws being tightened. I do have only limited sympathy for someone that chooses to operate as a kite at the mercy of the wind.
Strings get cut. Plan accordingly.

I swear to god, the way Jeremy moans like a faggot bitch all that time I could swear he was a Jew.

Checking his channel, all of his videos in the last month have 39K to 300K+ views, not 8,000.
I watched one of his recent videos, and he was reading what people on Twitter wrote in reaction to some news.
Maybe his content is usually more substantive, but I don't care what random Twitter users have to say about whatever is in today's news.
