the first game had an entire dlc dedicated to feminism where it declares that Motherhood, Faithfulness to your Husband, and being a Housewife is “wrong” and “oppressive”; this is on top of already being a 50 hour anti-Catholic struggle session full of random acts of fornication and adultery.
there are black characters in this game that brag about how much “smarter,” “more cultured,” and “more respectful of women” that muslims are.
the only “based” parts one could assume about this series is that it is very nationalistic. people forget said nationalism is based on soviet era propaganda that fluffed up the hussites as racial supremacist “freedom fighters” against The Catholic Church to spur on the same anti-Catholic sentiment that would lead to the mass wars in Eastern Europe in the 1990’s where slaves raped and Martyred millions of Catholics.
the “funny” part is that modern slavs in former german lands like the czech are actually russian arabs that were gifted the land by stalin if they murdered the german former occupants.
therefore vavra’s racial supremacist anti-Catholicism is amusing because his family is guaranteed to:
1) not be whatsoever related to the bohemians.
2) directly responsible for exterminating the bohemians to steal their land.
ALL of this reeks as a soviet-era psyop, and that’s because this IS a soviet-era psyop.
I get that they need to call out specific forms of discrimination for legal reasons, and that they don't get to determine what counts as policy, but the fact that they post this and don't IMMEDIATELY follow it up with assurances that the game doesn't include pro-LGBT content or the normalization of deviant sexualities is a bad look.
This game was just about at the tipping point; this may push it off the cliff unless they get real clear, real soon.
