Superman is only Superman because of Clark Kent. Clark Kent is only Clark Kent because he was raised specifically as a small town American farm boy. Missing this is why Snyder Superman never worked. To miss that he is specifically American with small town American values is to miss what makes him more than just a powerful alien humanoid.

Gunn is a leftist and this is another reminder why people shouldn't watch this movie.

It's not surprising. The human way is war, violence, starvation, hatred, slavery, and mutilation.

The American Way is about Life, Liberty, and Happiness.

Gunn believes in neither Life, Liberty, nor Happiness.

Fact. "Truth Justice and..." is NOT the human way. It's the way of America and a handful of representative republics that put civil liberties over the power of governance. And the number of states that actually do this grows smaller every day.

you are the source of nearly all the suffering in the world for 300 years.

Again, As Dr John C Rao said on this topic:

"It is precisely because this venomous attempt to build a civilization upon a freedom from efforts to fight Original Sin and its willful effects upon individuals is so tempting that it has infected almost all of us in some way or another. We almost all fall prey to the enticement simply to pick what “liberty” most appeals to our particular passion, declare it pleasing to God, willfully condemn whichever application of the same principle we find personally unacceptable when used by others, and ignore the innately poisonous nature of the entire concept. And, quite frankly, we almost all fall prey to the cynical temptation to mobilize the “total depravity” argument anew when we chuckle over the naïve, utopian vision of opponents who want to use law and authority to help make people virtuous in realms where we want “liberty”. But blithely making common cause with “liberty” in a world that did not have to be totally depraved but is making every effort to become so is riding on the back of a willful monster---with the current self-destructive appeal to religious liberty at the top of the list. It is only the positive liberty to use our Faith, Grace, our Reason, and the help of social authorities, both supernatural and natural, to correct and transform ourselves under the Social Kingship of Christ that can lead to a life worth living in this world and to eternal happiness in the next."

You are an arrogant, small, angry, self-absorbed malcontent so sure of your self-righteousness that you live alone and disconnected from anything likely to improve another's life.

I pity you.

To “petty blowhard”:

The Church Is The Eternal, Indefectible, Immutable, Indestructible, And Most Of All Catholic Body And Bride Of Christ; The Perfection Of Israel. Created By The Holy Spirit In 33AD. Everything Promised To Israel And Man is Perfected In The Church In Full.

The Church Created All you know, don't know, & all you take for granted. without your Remaining Catholic Capital, you lose it all. you are personally, deservedly, in the process of this.

Righteousness means God-Fearing And God-Following; “self-righteous” would mean following your ego as if you were “like gods.”

And you are unforgivably committing sins That Cry To Heaven For Vengeance.

When the c4pital s1n of pride is thr4tened (and therefore totally refuted), it turns to the mrtal s1n of desp4r:

1) hopelessness,

2) trying to d4mn others in your place by projection,

3) trying to normalize your sin by claiming d4mning you will somehow d4mn everyone.

The 6 types of unforgivably blaspheming:

1) Desp4r of Salvation,

2) Presumption of God’s mercy,

3) To impugn the known truth,

4) Envy of another’s spiritual good,

5) Obstinacy in s1n,

6) Final impenitence.

steps of the reprob4te:

1) mrtal s1n.

2) d4nial of God due to shme over mrtal s1n, hoping that makes it go away.

3) p4rsecution of Catholics due to shme over mrtal s1n.

4) Mrtyring Catholics due to shme over mrtal s1n.

5) scde.

5 happens right after 4 is even attempted.

to call Speaking Love, Absolute Truth, And Natural Law as well as Admonishing the sinner and Instructing is not only a total rejection your single means of Salvation, you are unforgivably blaspheming against All In The Church (All Three Persons Of God, All Saints, All Angels, All Poor Souls [Purgatory], All In The Catholic Church past/present/future). Not to mention the intent is to try to Martyr Us.

your curses are Consummately Returned back to whence they came with A St Michael Prayer and A St Benedict Prayer.

Take a step back to 2011 when DC Comics had Superman renounce his American citizenship officially. This makes a lot of sense. Why would an alien who sets himself up as a protector of all humans agree to be manipulated by the US government? This position makes the interview scene where Lois grills him about getting involved in an international conflict make sense.

I hated the Superman and Lois show because Clark/Superman was a weapon of General Lane.

Nobody should be able to tell Superman what to do. We should just be thankful that a being as powerful as he stands up for the rights of all people.

"The human way" is evil. Humans are naturally evil. Only when we resist our human nature do we manage to do anything morally good. This idea the people are innately good is fundamentaly humanist and delusional.

It's a clunker. I don't even find it woke. Just sort of recognizing the marketing of this film but...it's the least composed jumble of words I have read in decades. What is "The Human Way"? Hunt, eat meat and live in a cave? We've done that. Those actions literally define the majority of our existence on Earth. Is it make war and fight over resources? We've done that too. Is it land on the moon? That at least is aspirational but a little specific and esoteric. The fact is that "The Human Way" is a dilute and brackish idea that is neither defined by the character nor the subject. It means...nothing. Again, I don't think there is anything beyond marketing in this re-write. But it shows what a 5th-grade education world our corporate creatives live in. Toddlers all.
