Nothing happened except that besides the 100's of millions of dollars the man currently in charge of our country spent on his personal birthday party and the additional millions he spent to send the military to do a job that is illigal, the No King's Day was peaceful, everywhere. He is trying to redirect because he was raised by one of the worst racists I have ever met. Make no mistakes, Hutton Gibson, Mel's father was a nasty, horrible human being. The NO KINGS protest was mostly peaceful but it's hard to be anything but when the bulk of the people there are geriatrics in wheel chairs and walking cane.

I absolutely agree that they deserved to be honored but even they weren't feeling it because the parade was touted as a birthday bash for a king with only a sidenote of the Army's anniversary.
I lived my life around the world as the daughter of 2 military parents and I can tell you, the troops that were made to celebrate the birthday, were so out of step that it was clear, they were not proud on that day. Just watch it yourself because if you've ever seen a military parade, it looked nothing like that event.
It was not touted as a B-Day celebration for Trump; that is how the TDS enraged news media marketed it as. I too have family in the military active and former/retired and none saw this as the Kings day and since Trump came in they say there's ben a since of a return to pride in the military. I totally believe not all in the military are happy especially the gays and trans people as well as those with Stage3+ TDS but they are not the majority. The proof is in recruitment which was at historical lows during the Biden years because most did not want to serve under a Democrat president, a party that has disrespected the military for many administrations. All the branches save for the marines were facing significant shortfalls of meeting recruitment goals. In 2023 because few wanted to serve under a Democrat. The shortages in recruitment were
Army: ~23% shortfall (50,181 of 65,500 goal)
Navy: ~20% shortfall (30,236 of 37,700 goal)
Air Force: ~11% shortfall (24,100 of 26,877 goal)
Trump has been a positive on the military for all but those who should not be in the military to begin with and those who are physically fit to serve but have TDS issues.
