More to the point, I think it would make a huge difference if so many of these 'nonwhite' and female writers didn't work so hard to show males and whites as bad, useless people. Heroes and heroines are made by their deeds, not by the shortcomings of others.

Unfortunate that being stunning and brave now means: letting writers with talent make stories that people want to read, and not force them to read "have a conversation about ..."
