Look at the explosion of blues, pinks and purples.
That is called "bisexual lighting."
One of the many things I learned in my time in H-wood is that lighting is an EXACT science. Enormous care goes into lighting: position; colors. In the 80s, blues and purples were shown to have a subliminal effect on audiences moving them towards tolerating and embracing the blurring and blending of sexuality.
The colors themselves aren't evil. The blending is.
To Disney's credit, they are at least aware that gender-queer obsession isn't profitable or desirable by most people and are attemping to course-correct.
As if a story can only be good if it includes homosexuality. That thought process is why you've lost trust with the populous. Learn to make non-gay interesting movies or perish. Simple as that.
Why does Disney have to take a political stand? It's a private business, not a government office. Our entertainment is being hijacked by activists who feel they have to "educate" us on how to treat our neighbors. They complain when churches do this. But I guess it's all about what message we are trying to convey. I don't think anything should have been stripped out of Elio to make it more palatable. They should have left it the way it was--or started from scratch with a new character. No wonder this movie is doing so poorly. What's left without the MESSAGE?
They still pushed it.

Fascinating. Thank you.

It truly is “simple as that”.

Disney management has to fulfill its fiduciary responsibility by stop pushing Woke trans-LGBTQRST+, race and gender social issues.
Woke Disney disgusts people.
The gay flags confirm that the lunatics are in charge of the asylum. Disney management has to control this company or see the stock crater again.
